Herbalife Sponsors the World's Largest Beach Volleyball Series

Herbalife (HLF) has become the official nutrition sponsor of the Palm Beach Life Volleyball Series 2006, the largest beach volleyball series in the world, taking place in the Netherlands beginning May 27, 2006 with weekend competitions in 16 different locations.
This is the latest in a series of over 35 sponsorships this year for the company in support of sport and fitness events around the world that define the company's commitment to a healthy active lifestyle supported by Herbalife herbal health supplements .
The Series culminates in the European Beach Volleyball Championships in Scheveningen, August 24th - 27th. It attracts more than 10,000 competitors and up to 500,000 spectators, as well as extensive media exposure, including official Dutch national print and broadcast media partners.

The sponsorship package gives Herbalife the right to use 'powered by Herbalife' on all branding and merchandising associated with the Series, including the ranking board, winners' stage, volleyballs and nets, center court banners, all volunteer and crew clothing and team vehicles. It also offers Herbalife independent distributors extensive sampling opportunities at each event via beach showrooms. The company will be using the Series to sample Liftoff boost energy drink(TM), its patented effervescent boost energy drink Liftoff - with added vitamins B and C, which recently launched in Europe.
